The Truth Is Out There

God is objective truth.

Lately I have been wrestling with how to respond to post modern thinking. I have written a lot, trying to formulate my thoughts, sometimes coming up with more questions than answers.

But I keep coming back to this same premise: God is objective truth. We do not need to experience divine power, perceive divine presence or feel divine love to prove he exists. God is omnipotent, omnipresent, loving, merciful, just and righteous... even if we choose to ignore or disagree with Him.

“What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? Does the clay dispute with the one who shapes it, saying, ‘Stop, you’re doing it wrong!’ Does the pot exclaim, ‘How clumsy can you be?’ Isaiah 45:9

Biblical integration explains how the truths we do see, experience and understand have their origins in God. 2+2=4 because of the character and nature of who God is! Human history demonstrates God's power and purpose, and science explores God's vast creativity.

Students and parents have succumbed to the post modern, relativistic culture, and as Christian school teachers we must work even harder to share the source of objective truth: the Creator God.
